Opening the 8th Chakra & Connecting to a Universal Cosmic Source: a Personal Viewpoint

I sat and I asked, how can I connect with my true self ? Who even is my true self ? And it’s not the first time I’ve asked this. But every time it felt very, very far away.

I look back and I remember the first time I saw a small purple light briefly at the centre of my internal mind, what could have been my ‘third eye’. It happened in a Kundalini class in France, thank you Aashika✨

It’s been 9 years since then. And it’s been 3 years since I was connected to what I imagine to be a ‘universal cosmic source’, literally a swirling mass of stars, galaxies in space. The experience literally ‘blew my mind’ and it took a further 3 years of self work to get to the point of being able to clear the path and (re)connect myself to this energy source.

I never even really knew it existed before now, but today I cleared (my connection to) my 8th chakra and was then able to connect upwards and beyond. After an energy work session it’s important to give it time to settle, for the energy body and the physical body to ‘catch up’, for the session to be ‘integrated’, but it already does feel significant. And possibly even worth celebrating.
