I Hear You: Body Talks

If I could pass on only one thing that I have learnt so far, it would be to listen to your body.
I would put listening to the body as the most important indicator of whether someone will live a healthy life, or one that is out of balance. And the second most important? Taking action, of course.
From the moment the body indicates that there is something wrong, a pain, a change - a subtle sign that it needs help, the greatest gift to your future self would be to sit down and listen to what your body is trying to tell you.
Noticing, or ‘awareness’, of your body - your self - is the first step towards action.
Without awareness, signs and symptoms that the body is out of balance will go unnoticed. And the longer a sign or symptom goes unnoticed, the more it manifests.
For example, the longer an unhelpful emotion remains in the body, or nutritional deficiency is left untreated, the greater the issue becomes, and the longer it will take to remedy.
And I can give myself as a more specific an example here:-
After years of not noticing the existence of deep underlying stress in the body, I cracked my own tooth, in half!
As my dental surgeon informed me, this happened through the sheer force of teeth grinding at night. So she told me to find the cause, as there was no physcal misalignment (or other) causing the problem, she suggested the issue was stress, seen as tension held in the jaw.
So, it took this very physical manifestation of stress to show me what was happening - at a deeper level - in the body.
Thanks to this sign that body gave me, I become aware of the underlying issue, the root cause of my physical issue.
I then found and dealt with all underlying causes of stress. And to get there, it took a whole team including:
an amazing Kinesiologist https://www.healingology.co.uk/about-julia/
some very inciteful Past Life Regression therapy
acupuncture
Me: conducting my own Energy Healing Sessions on myself
alongside intensive training in Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Qigong, Reiki and Sound therapy: https://soundenergymedicine.com
Now I try to keep any new issues from staying, and manifesting futher, by noticing what my body is telling me every day.
If there is a new sign / symptom that something is out of balance I will start by doing an Energy Health Check on myself to identify a possible cause, and then I will do everything in my power - and use everyone and everything available to me (including doctors, functional doctors and taking blood tests) - to find the root issue and whenever possible remove that cause before it has time to become a part of me.
Why do I bother going to all this trouble to take care of my body / mind ? And why do I think you should too ?
Because it becomes very difficult to be your true self - to self actualise - if the body is not in balance, if we are unfortunately in discomfort, pain or experiencing suffering.
