How is Anger held in the Body ?

Updated: Oct 17

Anger can been seen and felt in the body as ‘stress’. As such it can contribute to an overloaded system - a system that can be overwhelmed by inputs that are not balanced.

Anger can be held in the HPA Axis (Hypothalamus - Pituitary - and Adrenal glands), in addition to the Liver itself - in line with Chinese medicine understandings of how emotions are held and stored in the body.

Book reference:- ‘The Spark in the Machine: How the Science of Acupuncture Explains the Mysteries of Western Medicine’, Dr Daniel Keown.

When I am clearing anger, hate or resentment from the body I can see it / feel it literally as a red mist.

In addition to an Energy Healing session which focusses on clearing this issue from the body, with intention we can contribute to letting go of these unhelpful emotions that are causing the lesser functioning of our organs, and in this case, the Liver.
