Deconstructing the Heart-Wall to Connect Intention with Action

Have you ever woken up in bed, unable to move.

Your mind, your will, says ‘get up’, ‘move’.

Yet your body won’t budge?

It is one thing to remove trauma from the mind, the memory.

The impact on the Amygdala, the HPA axis.

It is another thing to move the stress, the impact on the body, the nervous system.

And it is another again to remove trauma from the ‘heart-wall’.

From one issue, or one series of issues, there are at least three levels from which we need to remove and rebalance the energy: mind, body, and heart (or some might say ‘soul’).

You can remove the trauma from the mind, and the body, and you can still be left confused as to why you cannot move. Why are you still in Freeze state, as you wake in the morning, there could be many many reasons.

But if we take one example, of someone who has worked hard to remove the memory and impact of trauma from the brain, the body (and if it is a very deep issue, the energy bodies also), the resonance of that trauma still remains as a kind of blanket around the heart (a wall, according to Dr Bradley Nelson).

How I see this is that the mind is having an impulse, a desire to act.

Something somewhere in you has the great idea to get up from that bed, go to the bathroom, get a drink, get moving, anything.

But the body does not respond, as if there is a disconnect between the idea, the will to act, and the body receiving the instruction to act and actually moving as a result.

We could understand that the energy of the mind must travel ‘through’ the heart for the body to be able to ‘hear’ the desire of the mind, the instruction of the mind.

So if there is a block, a wall around the heart, the information, the energetic impulse to act is blocked from going any further.

Case Study: in a recent case I found the trauma of a difficult childhood was being held around the heart, feeling like a thick blanket surrounding the heart - made of a material that could not conduct electricity. In the session, my objective was to break up this substance, as if it were a thick cloud. To break up this energy and to remove it. This was one of the cases where I requested the help of a guide who helped to extract the dense energy and as we did, there I felt the emotion, it brought all the pain, the tears to my own eyes as the energy of that trauma was released. In a session like this, it is difficult but it is almost like striking gold when I sense / feel the emotion that has been trapped. Because it is at that moment that I know it is being released, and my client can leave lighter, more free, unburdened any longer by this old energy from a past that no longer serves.
